Jojo Ditawari Charlie ST12 Model Klip 'Keong Racun'

BANDUNG- Berkat aksinya menyanyikan lipsync lagu Keong Racun bersama Shinta di Youtube yang bikin heboh, Jovita Adityasari (19) alias Jojo ditawari Charlie ST12 jadi bintang video klip untuk lagu yang sama.

Tawaran itu, kata Jojo, sudah disampaikan Charlie beberapa waktu lalu. “Ya, saya dan Shinta ditawari jadi bintang video klip oleh Charlie ST12. Katanya untuk lagu Keong Racun juga," kata Jojo saat ditemui wartawan di kampusnya Jurusan Hubungan Internasional (HI) FISIP Universitas Pasundan (Unpas) Jalan Lengkong Besar, Kamis (29/7/2010) siang.

Jika tawaran rekaman ditolaknya, lain lagi dengan tawaran video klip. Jojo mengaku tidak masalah menjadi model video klip tersebut. "Ya kalau jadi model video klip saya tidak masalah. Kita sih senang-senang saja," kata Jojo.

Charlie sendiri sudah membeli secara ekslusif lagu Keong Racun dari pencipta aslinya, Buy Akur (49) beberapa waktu lalu.

Tak mau kehilangan momen, Charlie langsung mencari penyanyi dan pencipta lagu ini. Setelah membeli lagu, Charlie mengaransemen ulang dan mempercayakan duo Putry Penelope membawakan lagu ini.

Lagu berjudul Keong Racun mendadak heboh di ranah dunia maya. Lagu bergenre dangdut yang menceritakan soal perselingkuhan ini bahkan sempat menjadi topik hangat di situs mikroblogging twitter.

Kehebohan Keong Racun itu sendiri berawal saat lagu itu dinyanyikan lipsync oleh dua perempuan cantik yang mengaku sebagai Jojo dan Shinta. Mereka merekam aksinya dalam bentuk video lantas di upload ke situs youtube.

Ternyata, aksi mereka yang menggelitik dalam video tersebut menyita perhatian pengguna internet. Tak urung, lagu Keong Racun pun ikut menjadi perbincangan hangat. Padahal, lagu itu sudah lama beredar di Kota Bandung lewat penyanyi bernama Lisa

The impact of global warming in Asia

The Asian region spans polar, temperate, and tropical climates and is home to over 3 billion people. As the climate warms, many mountain glaciers may disappear, permafrost will thaw, and the northern forests are likely to shift further north. Rapid population growth and development in countries like China and India will put additional pressures on natural ecosystems and will lead to a rapid rise in the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere unless steps are taken to curtail emissions.

1. Llasa, Tibet -- Warmest June on record, 1998. Temperatures hovered above 77�F for 23 days.

59. Garhwal Himalayas, India -- Glacial retreat at record pace. The Dokriani Barnak Glacier retreated 66 ft (20.1 m) in 1998 despite a severe winter. 94. Afghanistan - 2001 - Warmest winter on record. Arid Central Asia, which includes Afghanistan, experienced a warming of 0.8-3.6�F (1-2�C) during the 20th century.

95. Tibet - Warmest decade in 1,000 years. Ice core records from the Dasuopu Glacier indicate that the last decade and last 50 years have been the warmest in 1,000 years. Meteorological records for the Tibetan Plateau show that annual temperatures increased 0.4�F (0.16�C) per decade and winter temperatures increased 0.6�F (0.32�C) per decade from 1955 to 1996.

96. Mongolia - Warmest century of the past millennium. A 1,738-year tree-ring record from remote alpine forests in the Tarvagatay Mountains indicates that 20th century temperatures in this region are the warmest of the last millennium. Tree growth during 1980-1999 was the highest of any 20-year period on record, and 8 of the 10 highest growth years occurred since 1950. The 20th century warming has been observed in tree-ring reconstructions of temperature from widespread regions of Eurasia, including sites in the Polar Urals, Yakutia, and the Taymir Peninsula, Russia. The average annual temperature in Mongolia has increased by about 1.3�F (0.7�C) over the past 50 years.

119. Chokoria Sundarbans, Bangladesh - Flooded mangroves. Rising ocean levels have flooded about 18,500 acres (7,500 hectares) of mangrove forest during the past three decades. Global sea-level rise is aggravated by substantial deltaic subsidence in the area with rates as high as 5.5 mm/year.

120. China - Rising waters and temperature. The average rate of sea-level rise was 0.09 +/- 0.04 inches (2.3 +/- 0.9 mm) per year over the last 30 years. 127. India - Himalayan glaciers retreating. Glaciers in the Himalayas are retreating at an average rate of 50 feet (15 m) per year, consistent with the rapid warming recorded at Himalayan climate stations since the 1970s. Winter stream flow for the Baspa glacier basin has increased 75% since 1966 and local winter temperatures have warmed, suggesting increased glacier melting in winter.

130. Mt. Everest - Retreating glacier.The Khumbu Glacier, popular climbing route to the summit of Mt. Everest, has retreated over 3 miles (5 km) since 1953. The Himalayan region overall has warmed by about 1.8�F (1�C) since the 1970s.

131. Kyrgyzstan - Disappearing glaciers. During 1959-1988, 1,081 glaciers in the Pamir-Altai disappeared. Temperatures in the mountains of Kyrgyztan have increased by 0.9-2.7� F (0.5-1.5�C) since the 1950s.

142. Siberia - Melting permafrost. Large expanses of tundra permafrost are melting. In some regions the rate of thawing of the upper ground is nearly 8 inches (20 cm) per year. Thawing permafrost has already damaged 300 buildings in the cities of Norilsk and Yakutsk. In Yakutsk, the average temperature of the permanently frozen ground has warmed by 2.7 �F (1.5�C) during the past 30 years.

103. Bangladesh - Link between stronger El Ni�o events and cholera prevalence. Researchers found a robust relationship between progressively stronger El Ni�o events and cholera prevalence, spanning a 70-year period from 1893-1940 and 1980-2001. There has been a marked intensification of the El Ni�o/Southern Oscillation phenomenon since the 1980s, which is not fully explained by the known shifts in the Pacific basin temperature regime that began in the mid-1970s. Findings by Rodo et al. are consistent with model projections of El Ni�o intensification under global warming conditions. 105. Lake Baikal, Russia - Shorter freezing period. Winter freezing is about 11 days later and spring ice breakup is about 5 days earlier compared to a century ago. Some regions of Siberia have warmed by as much as 2.5�F (1.4�C) in just 25 years.

155. China - Disappearing Lakes, 2001. More than half of the 4,000 lakes in the Qinghai province are disappearing due to drought. The severity of the impact is exacerbated by overpumping of aquifers. Annual average temperature in China has increased during the past century, with pronounced warming since 1980. Most of the warming has been in northern areas, including Qinghai Province, and in the winter.

The new 2010 Sportage is the first fully modern Kia, we reckon. The first styled wholly under chief designer Peter Schreyer (he of Audi fame), who's only now making his influence felt after four years in charge of styling the Korean cars.

So take note of this new Kia Sportage. It's the most comprehensive look yet at the new face of Kia. Tiger-snout grille? Check. Crisp, almost Germanic surfaces? Yep. Complex headlamp graphics, Audi-esque LED day running light ticks and chrome tinsel to move Kia gently upmarket? Those too.

The new Sportage launches in the UK with the range-topping 2.0 CRDi First Edition, available only as this well equipped £20,777 diesel 4wd. Joining the range in November 2010 will be a 1.6 petrol and a smaller, 1.7-litre diesel - both available with front-wheel drive.

So what's the new 2010 Kia Sportage aimed at?

Think Nissan Qashqai. This is Crossover Central, a market that's leapt to a fulsome 8% of the total UK retail market worth 130,000 sales a year. There's much respect at Kia for the Qashqai's market saturation and they aim to repeat its rich mix of engines and transmission options. No +2 version though. In the fullness of time expect a downsized petrol turbo Sportage and even a hybrid option.

For now, we're stuck with the 2.0-litre diesel in 4wd guise. It's loaded with kit. The only option is an auto transmission (we're testing the manual), but this First Edition comes with leather, climate control, reversing camera and Kia's new market-leading seven-year/100,000-mile warranty.

Looks crisp and stylish...

It does. Schreyer's tiger-nostril detail pops up everywhere on this design, from the prominent grille to the windscreen graphic (noticed how the top edge of the glass rises up on either side? A subtle but cool detail). It's repeated inside too, the dashboard running the same motif.

The design works well and I like the look of the Sportage. It's telling these launch cars come in a vibrant burnt copper colour. Reminds me of a certain Qashqai paint scheme, not to mention the zingy orange of the original Range Stormer concept...

Makes you realise just how far Kia has come. The Ceed and its ilk are now firmly in the European mainstream, and the new Sportage only accelerates that shift in emphasis. Guess that's what happens when you employ a German design chief.

Honda peps up the Insight hybrid car (2010)

Honda is perking up the Insight hybrid petrol-electric car this autumn in response to customer feedback. In particular, the new 2010 Insight gets mods to the suspension to improve the ride and a few more luxurious cabin trimmings.

It seems that Honda's taken some flak over the way the Insight drives, and engineers have focused on improving the Insight's ride comfort and refinement. They've adjusted the recoil rate of the springs, altered the rear camber angles and fitted new mounts for the rear axle to make the petrol-electric hybrid glide rather than crash over road surfaces.

In this day and age of PR shiny happy people, it's rare for a company to admit openly criticism of its products, yet Honda talks of the 'negative feedback on ride and comfort levels.' Good on them, we say. CAR applauds such honesty, and we've been quite vocal in our criticism.

What else is new on the 2010 Honda Insight?

Not much – it's not really a heavy facelift. The Insight was only launched in spring 2009, after all. But these 2010 changes are being rolled out globally.

Honda's hybrid has a refreshed interior: better plastics have been deployed on some surfaces, while dashboard and seat colours are made over. Chrome rings encircle the air vents and the door sills are now topped with a metallic kickplate. There's a bit of extra kit, too, with rear parking sensors added to ES models and above and two new paint colours are available.

A new, range-topping EX model will be available from launch in September 2010, packed with black leather upholstery, DVD sat-nav and hands-free telephone kit for £20,215.

But I thought Honda's Insight was supposed to be the cheapest hybrid on sale?

It is! Prices kick off at £16,325 for the SE model and UK customers are being wooed this summer with an Affordable Driving offer which brings the price of the Insight down to a tempting £14,995 until the end of September 2010.

Whatever you think of the Insight, that's pretty amazing value for a hybrid car.

Starcraft II Mendarat di Mac OS X

SAN FRANSISCO - Game strategi legendaris, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty kini dapat dimainkan oleh pengguna Mac. Pengembang game, Blizzard mengungkapkan game Starcraft II untuk platform Mac akan diluncurkan pada 27 Juli 2010.

Game tersebut rencananya akan dipasarkan melalui toko ritel online Amazon.com dan dibanderol seharga USD59.99. Demikian dilansir Softpedia, Kamis (22/7/2010).

Blizzard mengklaim StarCraft II untuk sistem operasi Mac OS tersebut menawarkan tampil grafis 3D yang mumpuni dan didukung dengan efek visual yang akan memberikan pengalaman terbaik bagi para gamer. Selain itu game tersebut juga mendukung kendali multiplayer, dengan fitur yang kompetitif melalui Battle.net.

Spesifikasi yang dibutuhkan untuk memainkan game ini antara lain, Mac OS X 10.5.8 dengan VGA GeForce 8600M GT atau berkemampuan sama, RAM 2GB, 12 GB ruang HDD, dan tentu saja koneksi broadband Internet dan resolusi 1024X720.

StarCraft II mengambil latar abad ke-26 yang berlokasi di wilayah terjauh dari galaksi kita. Ada tiga kelompok yang berperan dalam game tersebut yakni Terrans manusia buangan  dari Bumi,  Zerg, ras insectoid genetik dan Protoss, satu spesies dengan daya psionic besar. 

StarCraft II merupakan salah satu game strategi yang cukup legendaris. Meski versi awalnya telah dirilis hampir 12 tahun silam, namun sistem permainan yang ditawarkannya masih cukup dikagumi oleh para gamer. Tama Bantah Dianiaya akibat Rebutan Perempuan

JAKARTA - Anggota Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), Tama S Langkun, membantah jika penganiayaan yang diterimanya beberapa waktu lalu di Kemang, dilatarbelakangi permasalahan wanita dan judi.

"Dengan siapa berjudi? Boleh ditanya teman-teman saya di ICW, apakah saya berjudi di sana?" ujar Tama menjawab pertanyaan wartawan.

Hal tersebut diungkapkannya usai menjalani pemeriksaan di Mapolres Jakarta Selatan, petang tadi, Rabu (21/7/2010).

Begitu pula dengan isu rebutan wanita, yang juga dibantah Tama.

"Kalau perempuan, saya cukup kenal satu saja, dan saya dapat cewek itu bukan cewek yang bersengketa. Tetapi cewek yang nggak punya pacar, ya saya pacarin," tuturnya.

Tama dipukuli oleh orang yang tidak dikenal usai menonton bareng pertandingan Piala Dunia di salah satu kafe di Kemang, Jakarta Selatan. Akibat luka parah yang diterimanya, Tama harus menjalani perawatan di rumah sakti.

Pihak ICW sendiri menduga penganiayaan yang diterima Tama terkait pelaporan Tama dan rekan-rekan ICW lainnya ke Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). Pelaporan tersebut terkait kecurigaan ICW terhadap banyak rekening perwira Polri yang cukup mencengangkan
